Granite

Formed from molten rock under the Earth's surface, granite is hard and durable. Because granite is natural It has heat-resistant properties and is unlikely to scratch or chip. Granite is not completely smooth and has natural variations in color and texture.

Granite Maintenance: To clean granite countertops, use a mild dish soap diluted with water and apply with a soft sponge or microfiber cloth. Avoid using abrasive scrubbers to prevent scratches. Commercial granite cleaners can also be used but follow the instructions on the packaging. It only requires yearly sealing to maintain its quality.

Solid surface countertops are made by combining natural elements, resins, and pigments. They use mineral dust and a mixture of resins and pigments to create a non-porous material that can be installed with almost no seams.

Solid Surface Maintenance: Wash with soap and water or a countertop cleaner. Avoid using anything abrasive.
