Kitchen and Bathroom Flooring

When it comes to flooring in your kitchen or bathroom, you’ll want something that is resistant to moisture, is easy to clean, and is durable. Two of the most common options for kitchen and bathroom flooring are luxury vinyl and tile. Tile is the traditional option for kitchens and bathrooms because of its resistance to moisture and heat. Tiles come in a wide variety of styles so you can create a custom look for your floor. Luxury vinyl is gaining popularity among homeowners for kitchen and bathroom flooring. Most luxury vinyl floors come in water-resistant options, which can be used in kitchens and other places around the home. There are also waterproof luxury vinyl flooring options that can be installed in bathrooms without you having to worry about water damage.

Build Type

Stock Cabinets:  Stock cabinets are a great option for smaller budgets. These cabinets are available in standard sizes and are already assembled, but still need to be ordered to the store. They are generally constructed with furniture board or plywood with a decorative overlay. We are pleased to offer attractive styles of stock cabinets at affordable prices.

Semi-Custom Cabinets: Semi-custom cabinets are the mid-range option. They are available in a wider range of sizes, depth, width and height can be altered. Semi-custom cabinets can range from stock cabinets with custom doors to specialty cabinets with customized materials or finishes.

Custom Cabinets: Custom cabinets are the highest-end option and offer the greatest range of style and dimension. These cabinets are made to your exact specifications and can suit even the most unique spaces giving you greater flexibility when it comes to choosing material, finish and size. Custom cabinets are often hand built and all are of superior construction.

Height and Sizing

Standard Cabinets: Standard cabinets, also called base cabinets, run along the bottom of a room and come up 36 inches, but this can be altered on custom or semi-custom cabinets. They are often used as the base for a countertop and are elevated on a recessed riser called a toe kick. Depending on the brand, toe kicks can be removed for a furniture look.

Wall Cabinets: Wall cabinets, also called upper cabinetry, run along the top of a room. Height will vary on these.

Tall Cabinets: Tall cabinets can be used as broom storage or for pantry space. They are typically 83.5 inches in height and run from floor to higher than standing height.

Specialty Units: Specialty units include things like corner cabinets, suspended cabinets, bottle racks, hutches or fronts for a sink or cook top. Specialty cabinets maximize organization efforts within your available space.

Countertop Materials

What's The Best Option For You?

Stone

Granite, marble, limestone and onyx countertops are very popular with homeowners because of their beautiful look, durability and resistance to heat and scratching. Because stone is a natural product, no two slabs are identical. It’s the swirls, veining and variations that combine to make stone a unique yet affordable option. Minimal maintenance is required to keep stone looking as good as the day it was installed. Be sure to properly seal and clean as needed.

Laminate

The most economical option, laminate countertops are available in a large array of styles, colors and finishes ranging from textured which features enhanced stone patterns to embossing which matches wood visuals. Today’s laminates are also more durable than ever. However, laminate is not heat-resistant and is susceptible to scratching, so you’ll need to use trivets and cutting boards.

Quartz

Quartz is a low-maintenance countertop option. Quartz countertops are stain-resistant, typically heat-resistant and acid resistant. Quartz countertops are also non-porous, meaning they do not need to be sealed. Since quartz countertops are man-made, the design possibilities are endless.

Butcher Block

If you do a lot of prep and cooking in your kitchen, wood is the ideal surface. Butcher block countertops act as a built-in cutting board. When the wood is properly sealed, you can chop and prep right on the surface. Wood countertops are available in many different patterns and colorways.
